On July 10th our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother returned home to her Heavenly Father and reunited with her eternal companion. Flora was born September 4, 1931 in Paris, Idaho to Raymond Tracy and Ruby Poulsen Lewis. She was the youngest of 5 children. She grew up in Paris, Idaho. She graduated from Fielding high school in 1950. After high school, she worked as a waitress at the Rich Cafe in Paris for several years until she met her sweetheart. They married for time and all eternity in the Logan, Utah LDS temple on May 1, 1958. After getting married they established their home in Dingle, Idaho where they enjoyed their small ranch and large vegetable garden. This union was blessed with three children LaRae, Bryan, and Shirlene.

Flora had a love for life and people. She loved being outdoors and going places with her sweetheart even if it was to go change irrigation water. Family was so important to her. While her parents were alive she would visit them weekly to help her mom and do yard work for her dad who expected a well kept yard. Flora also loved her yard and especially her flowers which she directed the planting every year with the help of all of her family every Memorial weekend. She also enjoyed quilting and card games with friends. She loved to spend time with family whenever possible. Whether it was shopping trips, trying a new restaurant or attending all of her grand childrens activities and sporting events, she was always ready to go. Flora and Reed spent 11 winters in Arizona prior to Reed’s death where they made many new friends.

She was an active member of the LDS Church serving in many callings. Her favorite was Young Women and visiting teaching so she could be active and visit people and places. Flora is survived by her three children, LaRae (the late Byron) Romrell of Montpelier, Idaho, Bryan (Nita) Bird of Declo, Idaho, and Shirlene (Paul) Larsen of Brigham City, Utah; one sister, Norma Christensen of Pocatello, Idaho and Keith Lewis also of Pocatello; and 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Floyd and Darrell, a son in law, Byron Romrell, a grandson Austin Bird.

Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15, at 11:0 a.m. at the Dingle Ward chapel. A viewing will be held at Schwab-Matthews Mortuary on Friday, July 14, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Dingle Cemetery with services under the direction of Schwab-Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
