"Frank L. Evard, 59, of 13842 Brick, Granger, died at 12:35 a.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital after apparently suffering a heart attack in his home Sunday night.

He was a retired ironworker for the Dearborn Fabricating and Engineering Co., Mishawaka. Born June 12, 1917, in Columbia City, Evard had lived here for 36 years. His wife, the former Edna Mohn, survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. William Dolde of Edwardsburg; three sons, William of Fairmount, W.Va., Thomas of Granger and Ronald of South Bend; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, Clem Evard of Columbia City.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Forest G. Hay and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery." The South Bend Tribune (South Bend, Indiana), November 23, 1976
