Peoria, IL - Carlos W. Braman, 75, of Chillicothe, passed away July 2, 2017, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born on August 4, 1941, in Pollard, Ark. to Floyd and Audie Mae (Jivers) Braman Sr. He married Rosalie Renteria on September 25, 1962, in Los Banos, California. She survives.

He worked for many years as a forklift operator for the Kroger Warehouse in East Peoria, IL.

He is survived by three daughters, Corine (Randy) Baker of Chillicothe, Sherry Pope of Chillicothe, and Barbara (Michael) Melendez of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Frances Marshall of East Peoria; one brother, Basil (Elyner) Braman of East Peoria; also 8 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by both his parents and five brothers and two sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private inurnment will be at a later date.
