In Loving Memory
Donna Johanna Catten born September 12, 1929, at the age of 87, passed away peacefully at her Kearns home after her long battle with illness. She was surrounded by her loving husband and family. Life has been a little funnier, a little kinder, a lot more loving and definitely more giving with you in it. May your spiritual journey be pain free and may you be surrounded by loved ones who have passed before you.
Parents Jack & Johanna Hansen Street. Her mother passed when Donna was 3 so she was then raised by her father and siblings Ralph, Glen, Dean, and Madge until age 11 when a wonderful step mother, Madge and her daughter Barbara entered her life. Together, Jack and Madge had 3 more children, Renae, Van, and Jack.
The family moved to Magna, Utah and while living there, Donna attended school at Cyprus High School, there she met her soulmate and the love of her life (World War II Veteran) Duane F. Catten. Married July 11, 1946, in Elko, Nevada. Together they raised a family and had a successful business (Donna & Duane's Rac n' Cue) for more than 50 years in Kearns, Utah.
Survived by husband, Duane; daughters, Wendy Cahoon husband Spencer Cahoon (deceased), Sandy Catten wife Lori Dall, Robbin Jones husband Kent Jones, Connie Lambert husband Randy Lambert; son, Duane F. Catten Junior (deceased); ten grandchildren, Bryan, Brandon, Justin, Shaun all Cahoon's, Jared, Jennifer Williams, Tyson, Colton all Jones'; and Jamie Salazar and Jeremy Lambert both Lambert's; along with many great grandchildren.
Special thanks to Shannon from Applegate Hospice Care, you are an angel on earth.
