Sarah "Pauline" Bess Joye, age 94, of Belmont, was the daughter of the late Cody W. Bess and Mary Aycock Bess. She was also predeceased by her sister, Willie Jenkins.
Pauline grew up in East Belmont and was a 1939 graduate of Belmont High School. A long time member of Holy Comforter Lutheran Church, she retired after many years working in textiles.
