George Young Bryant was the son of George Washington Bryant & Sarah DeMoss. He married Rosanna Stephens on August 6, 1846 in Morgan County, Indiana. They had nine children during their marriage. He lived with his daughter Mary Jane Mitten until his death at the age of 83.
