JARMAN LOIS WHITESIDES passed away July 11, 2001 in Oakland, California. She was born April 14, 1907 in Kaysville, Utah to Frank L. and Nettie Whitesides. She married Cornel E. Jarman on June 2, 1930 in Salt Lake City, Utah, they then moved to Los Angeles. Ten years later, they moved to Berkeley where they have resided. Lois was employed by the Berkeley Unified School District and managed Thousand Oaks School Cafeteria. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Lois was preceded in death by her three sisters, one brother and a great-granddaughter. She is survived by her husband Cornell, Brother, Reed Whitesides and Allene, her children Kent C. and Ranae, Karen Jarman Redd and Mason, and Don B. and Ronna, as well as 15 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. Visitation is Monday, July 16, 2001 at 10:30 AM at the Berkeley Ward Chapel at 1501 Walnut, followed by funeral services at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Sunset View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Family History Library 4766 Lincoln Ave., Oakland, CA 94602. OAK PARK HILLS CHAPEL (925) 934-6500.
