She was a Danish actress. Started an education at the New Theater School and made her debut at the theater in 1937. She was engaged at the theater until 1940. She received her final degree from the Royal Theater School 1942 - 1944 , where she met her future spouse Bjørn Watt Boolsen. Over the years spread Lis Løwert over a large repertoire, which gave her roles on Alliance scenes , Rialto Theater, People's Theater and the New Scala. The latter theater manager was her sister, actress Karen Marie Løwert. In addition to his film work, she is remembered example for television roles in The Al Franken as pet Clausen's wife; Mrs. Mille Clausen and later in Matador, in which she played a dance instructor in Violet Winter.
