Rosaline married Merle Harkcom, and they became the parents of two sons.
Rosaline worked as the bookkeeper for her husband, Merle, who was a partner in the Modern Appliance Sales and Service in Latrobe, until her retirement.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, crafts, and sewing. She loved animals and was fond of organizations that cared for them.
She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Church in Latrobe. She and Merle were also Cub Scout Masters of Pack 309 in Latrobe.
At the age of 83, Rosaline A. Harkcom, of Latrobe, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle E. Harkcom in 2012, two sons, David Lee Harkcom in 1984 and Dennis Alan Harkcom in 1992, and two brothers, Edward H. and William C. Wallbaum.
She was survived by two nephews, Billy Wallbaum (Lee Anne) and Scott Wallbaum, a niece, Cathy Bolt (Carl), a great niece, Trisia L. Custer (Greg), a brother-in-law, James Harkcom (Margaret), two sisters-in-law, Betty Zubek and Helen Foor, as well as a number of other nieces and nephews.
Rosaline was also survived by her special friends who helped look after her, Alma and Ted Aland, Dick and Nancy McKelvey, and the Dzombak family.
