Mrs. Shelia Scott Gaskins, 79, passed away Friday, July 7, 2017. A native of Pollocksville, Shelia was the daughter of Kathleen Mallard Scott and Gilbert Neil Scott. She was a longtime educator with the Onslow County Schools and Trent Academy. She retired in 1995 after more than 34 years teaching. She was a member of Pollocksville Baptist Church, and enjoyed being with her grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 5-7:00 PM Monday, July 10, 2017 at the home of her son, Scott.
