April 28, 1924 - July 07, 2017 Lillie E. Henley, 93, of Richmond, Indiana passed away on July 7, 2017. She was born on April 28, 1924 in Connersville, Indiana to the late Benjamin and Mina Swartz.
Lillie attended Connersville Community Schools and was married 66 years to the love of her life, Merle Henley. Lillie lived in Indiana, Ohio, California and Florida before settling back in Connersville. She was employed at Richmond State Hospital, Perfect Circle (Dana), Catalina in California and Miller Moster Robbins Funeral Home in Connersville. Lillie enjoyed sewing, painting and traveling to Florida to be with her daughter, son-in-law and grandson.
Lillie leaves to cherish her memory her son; Ronal (Suzanne) Henley; daughters: Ruth (Laurence) Fouche and Gloria “Sue” (Ronald) Pickard; sister: Violet Starks; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren and 3 on the way. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and a special friends Patsy Miller and Ann Telker.
Lillie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Merle Henley; her sibilings: Elmer, Edna, Beulah and Donald; her grandchildren: Kim Davis, Virginia Pickard, Ronald F. Pickard and Eric Fouche.
Family and friends may call on Monday July 10, 2017 from 5pm-8pm at Community Family Funeral Home, 101 West Main Street, Richmond, Indiana. Service will be held on Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Webster Cemetery.
