Martha Jane Younger was the daughter of Charles Lee Younger and Parmelia Wilson. She was married to Francis Travis Morgan and together they had two sons Porter and Reuben Morgan. She was not living with her husband or her boys at the time of her death, but was overcome subsequently passing away with their third child a daughter. Many of the Confederate females family members that were imprisoned during the Kansas City, Missouri tragedy, were left with medical complications do to abuse and pure hygiene conditions. The females ranged in age from 10-60 respectfully. The ladies that survived the fall in the destruction of the building they were being held in, usually did not service future births of their children do to these complications. Our Aunt Martha Jane Younger Morgan and our grandmother Caroline Younger were two of these females. Our love and respect to the families of them all.
