He was a native of Butler, KY, and retired from General Electric in Louisville.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, a son, a sister, seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchild-ren.
His funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Rd., with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday.
