After Joseph's death in 1916, Pearl married her cousin, Elmer Bozarth. They had 2 children:

2) Elmer M. Bozarth (1920-1922)

Elmer Bozarth, Pearl's husband, died in 1922, just 13 days after their son Elmer did.


Pearl died young, only 45, in 1926. She had outlived two husbands, and three of her children. She lost two child during the 1918 Flu epidemic. At her death, her eldest living child was 23 and her youngest living child was 8. She left 4 children under the age of 18 at her death (Nellie, Ethel, Glen and Bertha).
