Nona J. Castro

Nona passed away at her Hollister home. She was born in Lemoore, CA, and lived nearly all of her life in San Benito County.
She drove the school bus for the high school for 27 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos. She loved spending time with her family and liked going to Table Mountain Casino in Madera.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Castro, who died in 1973, and is survived by her children and their spouses, Sylvia and Ruben Anaya of San Jose, Juanita and Larry Lucas of Hollister, Linda Rios of Hollister and John and Cindi Castro of Marysville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A Mass was celebrated on Tuesday, February 27th, at the Immaculate Conception Church in Tres Pinos. Interment was held at the San Juan District Cemetery in the Larios/Castro family plot. Services provided by: Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home.
