Mrs. Marjorie Miller Bacon, age 95, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 7, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville. Interment will follow at the Irwinton Masonic Cemetery, Irwinton, Georgia.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home of Milledgeville.
Mrs. Bacon, was preceded in death by her parents, Eric Ernest and Carrie Lee Miller, her first husband, John Henry Lee, and her husband, Nathaniel Hunter Bacon, Jr. She was born in Gordon, Georgia, moving to Milledgeville in 1950. She was a homemaker, an avid fisherman, and loved going to her place in Suwanee, Florida. She enjoyed playing bridge and working in her yard.
In lieu of flowers a contribution to the Savannah Court Activity Fund would be appreciated.
