Lonnie Bliven, 85, of 3485 M Street, Eureka, died at a local hospital Wednesday morning. He was a native of Dakota City, Neb., and had lived in this area for 56 years. He was a dairyman in several locations in Humboldt County.

He is survived by a son, Albert L. Bliven of Eureka; daughters, Mrs. Merle M. Oberdorf of Eureka and Mrs. Avanelle Santelli of Hemet, Calif.; brother, Jay Bliven of Sacramento and Edward Bliven of Pasadena; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, 11 a.m., from Sander's Funeral Home with the Rev. W. H. Youssi officiating. Interment will follow at Ocean View Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Wolfe, Orin Russo, Emil Tavola, Charles Otderdahl, Grafford Myers and Earl LaPoint.
