Agnes R. Brantner of Bedford, died at Pennknoll Village. She was born in Cumberland Valley TWP, daughter of John Sherman and Etta Pearl Growden Hite. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul F. Stiffler on May 18, 1978 and her second husband Ross W. Brantner on December 2, 1997. She is survived by six children: Nancy L., Dorothy, Charles R., Steven P, Wesley E. and Tony C.; seven step-children: 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, and a sister Dorothy G. She was preceded in death by a daughter Ida Pearl Stiffler; a son John G. Stiffler and 3 sisters; Jane, Betsy and Eleanor; 4 brothers; Joseph, Wesley, Alvin and Eugene Hite. She was a member of the Bedford Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
