Granny first married William Lafayette Sanders on December 31, 1882, Jackson County, Alabama. They had 1 baby that didn't survive.
Albert David Swearengin and Wade Hampton (Bishop) Sanders married August 16, 1884, Jackson County, Alabama. Albert died October 5, 1918 at 55 years old.
Their children: Eliza Ellen, Jones, Callie, John David, Jesse James, Charlie Cargile, and Amanda Lou.
After Albert died at 55, granny Wade would recite the Lord's prayer before going to sleep each night. At the end of the prayer, she would say "Good Night, Albert". Granny lived to be 84 years young.
