Margaret was born on December 14, 1879 in Natick, MA, the daughter of Honora Riley and John Bresnahan, both born in Ireland.
Margaret had 3 sisters, Catherine, Hannah and Helen, and a brother John.
Margaret married Thomas F. Lenehan on April 18, 1906 at Immaculate Conception Church in Malden, MA. They were blessed with 6 sons, John, Thomas Jr., Joseph, Robert, Bernard, and James.
In 1921, her son Joseph, 10, was killed while crossing the street in Malden. Five of her sons, John, Thomas Jr., Robert, Bernard, and James served in the Army. Robert was killed in 1944 in France. He is buried in the Brittany American Cemetery, St. James, France.
Margaret was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother of 9 grandchildren. She was a member of the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Society and Sodality, Immaculate Conception Church, Malden, MA and St. Anne’s Church, Manchester, NH, and its Maternity Society.
Margaret died on January 24, 1949. She is buried at New Saint Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, New Hampshire.
