Following is his wife's obituary, which mentions his death and location.

MRS. GEORGIA BAKER, 82, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. E. P. CROSTHWAIT four miles north of Bonita early Saturday, March 27, after a lingering illness of two years.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Bonita Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. P. S. WARREN. Interment was in Fairview cemetery, arranged by Scott Bros.

She is survived by one son S. S. BAKER of
Gainesville and one daughter MRS. E. P. CROSTHWAIT, nine grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.

Mrs. Baker was married and came to Texas in December 1883 or 1888, settling near Spanish Fort. Mr. Baker died in 1890, since then she made her home with her daughter Mrs. Crosthwait.

Was married first to Maria in Michigan. Apparently did not obtain a divorce, as she contested the benefits for Civil War Pension.
