The son of Alexander Blaine Anderson and Mary Ann Lackey. He left home to go west during the gold Rush. Lived in Columbia, Nev., Goldfield and Rochester, coming to Virginia City, Nevada in 1921. Lived at the Nevada Lodge of #1 Knights of Pythias. He never married.
He is buried in the Knights of Pythias plot.
