Mrs. Adalaiade Dreiling, 62, of 1626 Mahoning Ave., wife of Dr. Bernard J Dreiling, died at 11 p.m. Tuesday at her residence. She had been ill eight months.

Mrs. Dreiling was born June 8, 1895 in Sharon, Pa.a daughter of Fred and Mary Ellen Curran Vanderholt.

She came here in 1913 and lived here the rest of her life. She graduated from St. Elizabeth School of Nursing in 1916, one of the first nurses to graduate from the school. She served in France during Word War I at Base Hospital 31. After the war she went to Lakeside School o Anesthesia in Cleveland, where she graduated in 1920.

In 1922 she was married to Dr. Dreiling, who is a member of the surgical and medical staff of St. Elizabeth Hospital.

Mrs. Dreiling was a member of St. Columba Parish, the church's Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America, Newman Club, the Mahoning County Medical Auxiliary, St. Elizabeth Hospital Alumnae, American Legion Post 15 and Woman's City Club.

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Bernard Jr. of Canfield and John F. of Hollywood, Fla.; two brothers, Fred Vanderholt of Sharon and Charles Vanderholt of Beaumont, Tex.; a sister, Mrs. Norman Hall of Sharon and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Columba Chapel. Friends may call this evening and Thursday afternoon and evening at the McGovern Funeral Home.
