Services for Wanda Lee Hamilton, 90, of Plainview will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Bartley Memorial Chapel in Plainview with the Rev. Joe P. Weldon of South Plains Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at ODonnell Cemetery in ODonnell under direction of Bartley Funeral Home of Plainview. She died Saturday, Nov. 15, at Lakeridge Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Lubbock.

She was born April 26, 1913, in Childress. Growing up in Tulia, she helped her dad raise hogs. She married Rev. A.C. Hamilton in 1941 in Tulia at her fathers house. After marrying, she was very active with her husbands ministry.

A member of Parkview Baptist Church in Plainview, she had moved to Plainview in 1979 from Mineral Wells where she taught school for 14 years. Wanda also was a substitute teacher in Plainview for 18 years.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. A.C. Hamilton of Plainview; two sons, Jimmy Hamilton of Cookville, Texas, and Arlis Hamilton of Albuquerque, N.M.; a daughter, Katy Hamilton of San Antonio; five brothers, James H. Adams of Tulia, J.K. Adams of Muleshoe, William O. Adams of San Angelo, Udell Adams of Petersburg, and Kenneth Adams of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Glenna Rodden of Floydada and Adell Soots of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Dwight Adams.
