Nancy Lou Jones graduated from East Bank, WV High School in 1957 and served in the U.S. Army, 12 years active duty, attaining the rank of Sergeant First Class and 12 years as a member of the US Army Reserves. Upon completion of active duty, Nancy returned home to attend WVIT and graduated with a B.S.N. degree and began a career as an RN at Montgomery, WV General Hospital until her retirement on May 10, 2001. She was a lifelong resident of Paint Creek until moving to East Bank and residing at Clarks Christian Care. Preceding Nancy in passing were, father, Roy W Jones, mother, Vera McLaughlin Jones, sisters, Betty J Wong, Ruth Jones and Pearl Marie Jones, and brothers, Leland R Jones, James O Jones and Gilbert Lee Jones. She is survived by two sisters.
