"Samuel Stark's name is frequently in the town records [of Conway] and he held all the offices of the small community, as constable, selectman, surveyor of highways, tax collector, petit juror and grand juror. He is usually called "Ensign" or "Lieutenant" on the records. He signed the "Association of 1776." He and his wife are buried at Valley Cemetery in Manchester NH."
