The son of Charles H. and Christine (Kirkpatrick) Tumey and husband of Bessie Smith, Albert resided on Seventh Street Road and was a self-employed auto mechanic. He died of colon cancer at Louisville General Hospital at the age of 63, and was interred at Evergreen on 31 July 1959.
