Blaine William Agness, 88, died Feb. 28, 2006.
A life resident of Akron, he was a member of West Hill Baptist Church. He retired from B.F. Goodrich with 38 years service in accounting for retail stores.
Preceded in death by parents, Claude and Leola Agness; sister, Betty Agness; and brothers, Frank and Robert Agness, he is survived by brother, Charles Agness of Columbia, Md., and dear friend, Marcella Best.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Billow FAIRLAWN Chapel, 85 N. Miller Rd., with Rev. Aaron Varner officiating. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m.
