A sad death was that of Mrs. Josie Kees who died Sunday morning at her home here, leaving nine small children the eldest of whom will be fourteen in November and the youngest but one month. Mrs. Kees was a pleasant woman with many friends and many mourn her untimely death. She was 33 years of age and was married to Geo. Kees about sixteen years ago. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jap Thompson of this place. Besides her children, she leaves to mourn her loss, a husband, father and mother and two sisters, Miss Clara Thompson and Mrs. Grace Land. A large crowd attended the funeral at the Christian church Monday at 3 p.m.
