Darlene (86) passed away May 24, 2005 in Bountiful, Utah.
She was born August 17, 1918 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the only daughter of Warren L. and Ethel Turner Knight.
She married James V. Maughan on September 2, 1936 in Logan, UT.
Mom was happiest when she was around her family. She left wonderful memories for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren by her generosity and making life fun. She was dearly loved by her friends and family. She loved her family more than anything and was always helping where she could. She always wanted to make sure her family was happy.
She is survived by her daughters, Marjean (Daniel) Wood, Sharon (Richard) Pierce, and son, James W. Maughan; 14 grandchildren; and 35 1/2 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother, Miland C. Knight of Vernal, UT. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Keith L. and Max T. Knight.
The family would like to extend heart-felt thanks to the Life Care Center of Bountiful and Vista Care Hospice for being there.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main. Interment-Bountiful City Cemetery.
