Floyd and Dinah have made Shawnee their home for the last 27 years and are members of the First Baptist Church in Shawnee. Floyd was a family man foremost and enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed golf and hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mattie Jamar Holbrook, five brothers, Roland, Doyle, Ray Leon, Thomas, and Kenneth Holbrook and one sister Peggy Holbrook.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dinah Holbrook, son and daughter-in-law, Tommy and Barbara Holbrook, son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Shelly Holbrook, 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Shawnee on Wednesday, January 4th at 10:00 am. A private burial will be held for family members.
Donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, The American Stroke Foundation or The Salvation Army.
