Funeral Home in Kenesaw is in charge of the arrangements. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 7 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Kenesaw.
Wyona was born in Hastings, Nebraska on October 17, 1944. She graduated from Hastings High School in 1963. After graduation, she was employed at Hastings Regional Center in the Recreation Department. On October 5, 1963, she was united in marriage to Eldon Enninga. She enjoyed her employment at Musicland at Imperial Mall in Hastings during the 1980s and 90s. She also provided childcare for the local community. She assisted her husband Eldon with the ownership and
operation of Hi-Line Motors
Wyona was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Kenesaw. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren on holidays and other special times.
Wyona is survived by her husband Eldon of Kenesaw; daughters Tammie (Bill) Johnson of Roseland and Deb (Brian) Streff of Kenesaw; sons Scott Enninga of Heartwell and Brent (Chelsea) Enninga of York; grandchildren Kris Johnson, Kasey Johnson, Dan Streff, Bailey Streff and Avery Enninga; sister Cheryl (Roger) Kort of Colorado Springs, CO; sisters-in laws Diane (Mike) Hayek of Lincoln and Carol Enninga of Denver, CO.
Wyona was preceded in death by her parents Eldon and Dorothy Benker; brother-in-law David Enninga.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or Lutheran Hour.
