MANY ATTEND RITES FOR MRS. HARYMAN AT NEWVILLE

Yesterday afternoon the funeral of the late Frances Josephine Haryman was held at Newville. A grave side service was conducted b Rev. E. W. McCash, pastor of the Christian church of Red Bluff.
Mrs. Haryman was born at Wedgewood, California, 83, years ago. She was the first white baby girl born in Siskiyou county. She had been a resident of Tehama county for the last 67 years. She was called the "Mother of the Newville section". For the last few years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ed Jobe, at Red Bluff.
She leaves to mourn her departing one son, George Haryman, of Flournoy; one daughter, Mrs. Ed. Jobe, of Red Bluff; several grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
Interment was made beside her husband and several children who had preceded her to the grave many years ago. The pall bearers were George Haryman, Ed Jobe, Abe Conklin and her three grandsons.
She had been a member of Palm Rebekah lodge for many years. Those attending the funeral from Corning were Mrs. R. J. Packard, Mrs. Martin Stetson, Mrs. A. L. Jobe, Mrs. Elizabeth Vincent and J. J. Flanagan. - Transcribed by E.
