Rodney H. Bonjour, age 64, of Cazenovia, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2017 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.
Rodney was born on December 18, 1952 in Savanna, IL, the son of Alvin and Gloria (Neff) Bonjour. He was adopted and raised by his caring parents, Theodore and Dora Hoppe. In 1981, Rodney married Linda Newcomer. They had one son, Andrew Bonjour. Both Linda and Andrew survive him.
Rodney was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching wildlife. He was considered a father figure to many and was especially close to his nieces, Dona and Jennifer.
Rodney was preceded in death by Alvin and Gloria Bonjour, his parents, Theodore and Dora Hoppe and brother, Robert “Bobby” Bonjour.

Funeral Services for Rodney will take place Thursday, Jun 29, 2017, at 11:00 am, at the Cazenovia Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Michael Amberg will officiate. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, also at the Cazenovia Chapel from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and also on Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow services at Cazenovia Hillside Cemetery.
