Anna M. Stekle, 88, of Claxton, Ga., formerly of Akron, passed away Sunday, Jan. 15, 1995.
Mrs. Stekle was born in Lebanon, Pa., and had lived in Akron until moving to Georgia two years ago. While living in Akron she was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and the Daughters of Herman.
Preceded in death by her husband, Peter, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and William Sugg of Claxton, Ga.; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Helen Stekle of Akron; sister, Rose Ball; brother, John Ames (sic: Ams), both of Akron; grandchildren, Stephen Stekle, Christopher and Mark Costello, and Michelle Viner; and two great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial TUESDAY, 11 a.m., at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 Tuesday morning at the Dunn-Quigley-Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 811 Grant St., Akron. The family suggests memorials to str. Paul's.
