He was born November 26, 1922 in Kalamazoo, one of two children to the late Leo and Lena (Mohney) Arnold. Olin was a veteran of the United States Army serving during World War II. On November 5, 1947, he was united in marriage to Evelyn R. Curry in Kalamazoo. She preceded him in death on April 8, 2004. Surviving are his 2 children, Phillip Arnold of Mattawan, and Linda (John) Cleveland of Vicksburg; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Maxine (Lee) Bland of Indiana.
