Botz ST. JOSEPH - Sister Leoberta Botz, 82, died today at St. Scholastica Convent, St. Cloud. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Benedict's Convent with her brother, the Rev. Paschal Botz officiating. Burial will be in the convent cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Sunday at St. Scholastica Convent in St. Cloud and after 3:30 p.m. at St. Benedict's Convent in St. Joseph. A wake service will be 7 p.m. Sunday at the convent. Sister Leoberta was born July 7, 1896, in Freeport to the late John and Elizabeth (Walz) Botz. She entered St. Benedict's Convent in 1914 and made her final vows July 11, 1919. She celebrated her Golden Jubilee in 1966. She was an elementary school teacher in St. Paul, St. Cloud, Bismarck, N.D., White Earth, Cold Spring, Albany and Perham prior to her retirement in 1970. Survivors include brothers and sisters, The Rev. Paschal Botz, Collegeville; Oswald, Melrose; Henry, Mrs. Marion (Charlotte) Butcher and Mrs. Henry (Olivia) Schommer, Minneapolis; and Francis, Saginaw, Mich.
