He always was
ready to help his children, grandchildren and anyone else who may seem to be in need of one thing or another.
He loved his old white truck and spent his time enjoying his family in his years after retirement. MY grandfather was a remarkable person to have started out in a clapboard shack and however limited an education he may have had.It never prevented his ability to provide for his family.
Marion passed in his home in his own bed, surrounded by his family on

A very much loved man who overcame and accomplished much in his life time.
He told me once a man was only as good as his word,a man who couldn't keep his word was he said ,not worth a hoot and unworthy of trust.
I have learned over my years how true that is and my Grandpa was a man who was as good as his word.
