Fort Bend Herald, June 20, 2017:

Mary Ann Dannhaus Cloudt, 77, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2017, in Needville, Texas.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents James Everett and Ima (Schrader) Haynes; brother, James Haynes; granddaughter, Chelsy Tomlinson; former husband, Gene Dannhaus and step-son, George Cloudt.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Melvin Ray Cloudt; sons, Art Dannhaus and wife Diann, David Dannhaus and wife Dianne; daughter, Elizabeth Tomlinson and husband Steve; grandchildren Justin Tomlinson and wife Ashley and great grandchildren Tresley and Trace; Jared Dannhaus and wife Heather and great grandchild Jace; Austin Dannhaus and wife Maggie, JT Dannhaus and wife Kenna, Trent Tomlinson, and Tanner Tomlinson in addition to 1 niece, Judy Joachim; 3 nephews, Kenneth Joachim, Loren and Wade Dannhaus; brother-in-law Kenneth “Butch” and wife Dianna, mother-in-law Johnnie Dannhaus. Mary Ann was step-Mom to Ray Cloudt and wife Lu Beth; James Cloudt and wife Maria; Carl Cloudt and numerous step grandchildren.

Mary Ann grew up in Damon, Texas and moved to West Columbia, Texas in 1977 to be closer to the Christian Center where she faithfully worshipped her Lord and Savior. Mary Ann resided in Needville, Texas since her marriage to Melvin in 2002.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, 122 Bell Creek Dr., West Columbia, Texas.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to E.P. Compean Directors in Rosenberg, Texas. Words of condolence may be left for the family at www.epcompean.com.
