Shirley Lucille Hansen, of Luck, WI was 90 years of age when she peacefully passed away June 18, 2017 at Frederic Nursing and Rehab Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thorvald and Harriet Hansen; her sister, Lyla Dolan; and her husband, Len Hansen.

Shirley married Leonard Charles Hansen, of Luck on October 5, 1946. They resided in St. Croix Falls for 2 years and then made their permanent home in Luck, WI.

Shirley was active at the Luck Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was manager of Anderson's Variety Store in Luck for many years and always enjoyed getting the toy room ready for Christmas and answering all the Santa letters that children mailed at the store. She loved knitting and needle crafts, leaving a legacy of beautiful artistry. She also enjoyed traveling with friends; time spent at their trailer on Diamond Lake; and having coffee and cookies always ready to serve any one who stopped by her house.
