She was twice married, first to the late Ted Hampton. Both of her husbands were WWII veterans.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Sam Rollison and Myrtice Hiott Rollison. A charter member of Calvary Baptist Church, Mrs. Cobb had retired from Cushman Mill, Milliken Company. She was formerly a Sunday School teacher, WMU Director, Senior Citizen President, Church Historian, and a member of Sarah Bible Class.
She is survived by daughters, Teddie H. Griffith of Williamston, Vickie H. Burgess of Pelzer; grandchildren, Lori and Kevin Brown, Lisa Ellison, Anna Stegall (Todd), Jon Burgess; great-grandchildren, Amie Ellison, Kaleb and Kylie Stegall, Noah and Emma Burgess; step-children, Nancy C. Dougherty of Charleston, Lane C. Burdette of Louisville, KY; numerous step-grandchildren, step-great-grandchildren and step-great-great-grandchildren; sister, Lila R. Harbert of Anderson; and brother, Roy Rollison of Belton.
She was predeceased by step-daughter, Gayle C. Godfrey, sister, Edna R. Morris; brother, Harvey Rollison.
Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
