YOAKUM - Glen A. Blundell, 83, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017. He was born February 11, 1934 in Caldwell Co., to the late Grover and Aubrey (Owen) Blundell.
He was a member and deacon at Stratton Primitive Church. He also served as past President and member of Yoakum Rotary Club. He retired from DuPont in Victoria after 32 years. He proudly served as Lavaca County Commissioner for nine years. He loved ranching and his community of Yoakum.
Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 53 years, Shirley Williams Blundell; sister, Adell Boyko; brother, Royce Blundell.
Visitation 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home.
Funeral Service 11 a.m., Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Stratton Primitive Baptist Church, 9098 FM 1447, Cuero, Tx.,77954, with Elder Jeb Owen officiating. A meal and fellowship to follow. Graveside Service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, at Jeffrey Cemetery in McMahan, Texas.
