Funeral services, 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 19, 2017, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Allred was born June 24, 1957, the son of the late Jack and Peggy Johnson Allred. He graduated from Wentworth High School and had attended Rockingham Community College. He had worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at Slane Hosiery Mills, Inc. He loved collecting and restoring antique tools and machinery and "Facetiming" his granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Hill Allred, of the home; son, Chris Allred and wife, Jenn, of Raleigh; granddaughter, Emma Allred; brother, Eddie Allred; sisters, Dianne Ferree, Jean Craig, Becky Snipes, and Renee Hurley.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, June 18, 2017, at Ridge Funeral.
