ay Douglas Gordon, 70 of Irvine, KY transitioned to eternal life on Thursday,
April 6 2017 at Marcum Wallace Memorial Hospital. Doug was born August
11, 1946. He was the son of the late Herman and Mamie Gordon. Doug was
a faithful and devoted member of Richmond Predestinarian Baptist Church.
Doug leaves to cherish his memories of a loving husband of 40 years his
wife, Teresa Gordon. Memories of a proud father of 15 children : Douglas
Gordon, Patricia Parsons, Mamie Laura Gordon, Felicia Wilkerson, Latanya
West, Amanda Gordon, Chasidy Gordon, Angel Gordon, Kevina Gordon,
Latee Gordon, Tilda Gordon, Deffena Gordon, Larry Gordon and Christopher
Gordon. Memories of a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather to a
host of grandchildren. His favorite mother-in-law Emma Mitchell. Siblings
with a lot of fond memories: Barbara Dennis, Dessie Isaacs, Hargus Gordon
and Carol Clark.
Besides his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly
Gordon, a brother Travis Gordon and a sister Doretta Barnes. Doug enjoyed
spending time with his family. Doug will be missed by all that had an opportunity
to make his acquaintance.
