Charles Edwin Eamigh was born on April 25, 1927, a son of Harry G. Eamigh and Elda (Braughler) Eamigh of Latrobe.

Charles grew up in Baggaley and enlisted in the US Navy in 1943. During WWII, he saw action in the Pacific aboard the battleship USS New Jersey.

He married Audrey Elizabeth Sintef in 1950, and they became the parents of a daughter and a son.

He worked at American Locomotive, Republic Steel Corp, Latrobe Electric, and later Trans World Airlines in New York.

At the age of 89, Charles Edwin Eamigh passed away December 23, 2016, in Woodhaven, New York.

He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, and a sister.

He was survived by his daughter, Linda; his son, Charles G.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
