Whereas Elizabeth Himes, (wife of Stuckley Himes, of North Kingstown, in the County of Washington, yeoman, but now residing in parts unknown) hath preferred and filed her certain petition in said Office, praying (for reasons therein stated) for a Bill of Divorce from her said Husband. This is therefore to notify said Stuckley, to be and appear (if he see fit) before our Supreme Judicial Court next to be holden at South Kingstown, within and for the county aforesaid, on the 2d Monday in October next, to show cause if any he may have; why the prayer of said petition ought not to be granted.
