Edwin owned and operated the daycare called Inquisitive Years. He had previously worked for Industrial Plating Inc of Lafayette.
Edwin enjoyed baking, cooking, landscaping, and cleaning.
Surviving are his parents, Donald and Imogene of Kentucky; his children, Samantha Battering of Georgia, Brandon Battering, Kelsey (Christopher Reese) Battering, Mariah Battering, and Aiden Battering, all of Lafayette; his brother, Donnie Battering of Corbin, KY; and his sister, Susie (Randall) Prewitt of Maryville, TN. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren.
