MARSHALL Erma Marie May 11, 1927 June 13, 2017 Erma Marie (Bishop) Marshall, 90, of Christiansburg, passed away to be with her Lord on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Erma was born in Indian Valley, Va. on May 11, 1927 daughter of the late Harrison and Hettie Bishop. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kirby L. Marshall; brother, Jessee Bishop; sisters, Cynthia Dulaney, Ruby Duncan, Lola Wade, Effie Dulaney, Cora Smith and Annie Dean Clark. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Smith of Arizona; son, Carlie L. Marshall and wife, Sherry of Christiansburg; grandchildren, Gregory Smith, Jessica Smith, Amanda and Christopher Guth, Justin Wyatt Marshall; three step great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Verlie Slusher; numerous nieces and nephews as well as special friends. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017 at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Clyde Bishop officiating. The interment will follow at the Big Sand Cemetery.
