He was the son of Willard and Mary VanHoosen Waite.
He was thrice married:
He first was married to Anna Waite in 1913. She died in 1928.
He married second, Grace Belle Peckman in 1929. She died in 1951 and was buried with her parents.
In 1952 he married Myrtle Redmond Spry in Herkimer.

ADAMS— Wesley W. Waite, 84, of 2 West Prospect St., died Wednesday at the Sunset Nursing Home, Boonville, where he had been a patient since August.

Born May 20, 1887, at Williamstown, a son of Willard and Mary VanHoosen Waite, he attended local schools and married Grace Belle Peckman. She died in 1951. He married Mrs. Myrtle Spry in 1952.

Mr. Waite was employed at the Utica State Hospital and later in Farmlngton, Conn., as a chauffeur and butler.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Spry Waite; two stepsons, Robert Spry, Ilion, and Claude Spry, Whitesboro; two nieces; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Applegate Funeral Home, Ilion,
Rev. Charles Williams, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Armory Hill Cemetery, Ilion. Watertown Daily Times, Thurs., Sept. 30, 1971
