Glenn Native Dies; Funeral Held in Chrome

Funeral was held yesterday in the Millsaps cemetery for Louis Elmer Cooper, 67 year old resident of Glenn County, who died Friday.
Funeral was held yesterday in the Millsaps cemetery for Louis Elmer Cooper, 67 year old resident of Glenn county, who died Friday.
Cooper, who was the son of the late James O. and Martha A. Cooper, spent his entire life in the foothill section in the western part of the county.
His maternal grandparents came to California in 1854 and established the family home in Glenn County, a few miles from where Cooper lived. His father's parents also came to California in 1854, settling in Napa county.
Church Member
Cooper was a member of the Christian church and a member of the Woodmen of the World lodge.
Survivors of the native of Glenn county include his sons, Vernon L., Kenneth I., and James A. Cooper. A daughter, Mrs. Glenn Minard, and four grandchildren also survive.
Cooper was the brother of Mrs. Addie Zumwalt and George O. Cooper. A son of the deceased, G. L. Cooper, and a brother, F. L. Cooper, preceded him in death.
Interment was in the family plot in the Chrome Cemetery. - Transcribed by M.
